Masking sucks, but it can suck less with the help of masking putty!
Traditionally, masking putties are used to create camo patterns on military kits, but it can also be used to mask awkward shapes or fill grooves. You can also use it in conjunction with masking tapes to cover expose parts – saving money and time!
These masking putties are re-usable! Simply store inside the container after use, and it’s ready to be used for next time.
Dispose of your masking putty once it becomes “sticky” and doesn’t retain its’ firmness anymore. The putty does degrade over time, especially after repeated exposure to thinners and lacquers.
There is no difference in quality between the black or blue colour. If you are painting on a dark surface however, the blue putty would be easier to spot!
