If you haven't been using an apron while working (especially painting), you're missing out. It's always good to have an apron to protect your clothes from splatters, or carry some tools e.g masking putty, or tweezers (for adjusting on-the-fly).
You can also use it to wipe your hands on (especially handy if your gloves are lightly powdered, so you don't have to wipe it on your clothes).
