Hurro CHC peeps, this is Mars speaking.
These bits are the PLASTIC REINFORCED PARTS from the ORIGINAL DIAN CHANG MG Barbatos metal frame replacement product set.
This was bought by my commwork client for the Cyberpunk Aether MG Barbatos commwork that I recently did. These parts are basically replacement plastic parts for the BANDAI ones (NOT METAL).
However, ALMOST ALL OF THE PLASTIC REPLACEMENT PARTS HAVE POOR FIT.
THE PISTONS THAT YOU CAN SEE ARE METAL.
A few words about the plastic:
- It's a lot tougher than the BANDAI plastic
- It's a lot more slippery than the BANDAI plastic
- It's already pre-cut
- You will need to enlarge some of the holes of the plastic or lubricate the parts to make them fit with each other
- The BANDAI parts are MUCH better, but I can see why these plastic parts are included in the metal set. It is a lot sturdier and more solid, especially if used with all of the metal replacement parts
- But being third party, the build experience is awful.

If you feel like you can make it work, go for it!
(Don't QQ at me if it does turn out to be an awful build experience)

These junk/ spare parts are perfect for those of you who would like to use them for kitbash/ scratchbuild materials, or as a secondary replacement to resin conversions (if applicable).
